Role Description

This full-time role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and involves working as a Fire & Security Technician.

Responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire prevention systems, alarm systems, and electronic security equipment. You will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and addressing system or network-related issues to maintain operational functionality.

Qualifications

Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and fire safety systems
Knowledge of cybersecurity and network security practices
Familiarity with alarm systems installation and servicing
Understanding of occupational health and safety procedures related to security systems
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety, security, or electronics are advantageous
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
