Job Specifications

We are seeking a strong Data Engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience for our client. The ideal candidate does not need extensive Snowflake experience but must have a solid academic foundation and strong core engineering skills. Candidates with degrees from reputable U.S. universities are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Work with Snowflake for data modeling, data integration, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with analytics, BI, and application teams to support data needs.
Implement best practices in data security, governance, and quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues promptly.

Required Skills

5–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, pipelines, SQL, performance tuning).
Strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputable U.S. university.
Experience with tools such as DBT, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.
