Lazard CEE Team is located in Paris, it specializes in mandates in Central and Eastern Europe, CIS, Greece and Turkey. The Team focuses on cross-product (Merger & Acquisitions, Debt Advisory and Restructuring) and cross-sector (TMT, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, Energy, etc.) engagements.
The CEE Team benefits from a recognized track-record of M&A deals across the whole CEE, CIS, Turkey and Greece geographies, while being based in Paris.
We are seeking an intern from July 2026, for a period of 6 months. This position is based in Paris.
The team is ONLY interested in candidates that are closely connected to the region of Central and Eastern and speak fluently a regional language (Polish, Czech, Romanian, Serbian, Croatian, Russian etc.).
We’ll trust you to be involved in:
Preparation of presentation materials in relation to M&A, ECM, DCM, and sovereign advisory for clients in all major industries
Performance of company valuations using techniques such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable listed companies, or transactions
Ongoing transactions execution
Interaction with Lazard bankers’ network worldwide to support our clients.
You’ll need to have:
Strong previous experience in Finance or Consulting (internships)
Excellent academic credentials
International background coupled with knowledge of the CEE region and local language(s) – Candidates with no fluency in a CEE regional language will not be considered
Non-EU students are expected to manage independently all related administrative and work-permit topics.
