About Us

We’re an early-stage UK startup with a functional prototype already built by the founder. We’re now looking for a highly capable full-stack Software Engineer to help complete and refine the MVP by the end of this month. This is an equity-only role while we secure funding, with the intention to transition into a paid role post-investment.

Role Overview

As our first full-time engineer, you’ll take ownership of both frontend and backend development, build key features, and help bring the MVP to launch. You’ll be working closely not only with the founder but also with our CTO, who will actively support and guide you throughout the build.

What You’ll Do

Work across the full stack to complete the MVP

Improve and extend the existing prototype

Build and refine UI components and user flows

Develop backend logic, APIs, and integrations

Configure and optimise AWS services

Design, manage, and optimise databases

Integrate AI features (LLMs, automation, intelligent workflows)

Collaborate on architecture, security, and scalability

Work directly with the founder and CTO to deliver the MVP by month-end

What We’re Looking For

Strong full-stack development experience

Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies

Solid experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, or similar)

Strong grasp of databases (SQL/NoSQL)

Experience building and consuming APIs

Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs

Able to quickly understand and enhance an existing codebase

Available full-time with an immediate start

UK-based and open to equity-only

compensation during pre-funding

Bonus: startup or MVP launch experience
