Quandela is a European scale up that provides photonic quantum computers that are modular, scalable, energy-efficient and accessible both on the cloud and on premise. 

Our team of 140 employees specialises in the development of both software and hardware solutions for a variety of quantum applications. We offer a wide range of services, from developing the most efficient and brightest single photons sources, to creating algorithms for quantum computers and providing cloud quantum computing solutions. 

Quandela plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner in the quantum transformation of industrial sectors such as energy, finance, pharmaceuticals, and transportation. Furthermore, we are esteemed collaborators within the academic and research community. 

Following a successful €50 million fundraising in 2023, we are now scaling up our commercial ventures alongside our ongoing research endeavors.  
Quandela has been chosen to participate in the French Tech 2030 program, which aims to bolster French companies pioneering groundbreaking innovations. 

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, within the Finance Department, your main responsibilities are to :

• Participate in the development of budgets/forecasts in conjunction with operational and functional departments

• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted results

• Track costs, control spending commitments, and monitor/steer business profitability

• Implement various dashboards and performance indicators, and perform any financial analysis to measure and optimize the operational performance of the various teams

• Participate in accounting closings, including reviewing analytical allocations for expenses and investments and monitoring the capitalization of R&D projects

• Participate in grant projects: developing budgets, anticipating and monitoring expenses, and reporting financially to funding agencies

• Prepare regular reports for management

• Participate in the implementation of new financial management tools

Requirements

You're looking for an end-of-study or gap-year internship of 6 months in a business or engineering school, and you're available from February-March 2026.
You're particularly interested in working in a start-up environment, where you'll be working closely with different teams, in an international environment and managing a wide range of projects. 

• Excellent command of Excel and key data management and reporting tools (such as Power BI)

• Proficiency with a financial modeling tool would be a plus.

• Fluent in English
