Job Specifications

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience to join a growing team focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal Cloud DevOps Engineer candidate will have hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies, ensuring high availability and security across cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud-based solutions.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards within AWS environments.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS.
Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

Compensation:

$120,000 – $155,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
