About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Strategist with strong digital banking and fintech experience to lead strategic discovery, guide platform architecture decisions, and partner directly with C-suite stakeholders. This role requires someone highly consultative, structured, and confident in owning end-to-end workstreams — from vendor evaluations to platform strategy design.
Responsibilities
Lead vendor discovery sessions and facilitate stakeholder interviews to gather technical, operational, and business requirements.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
Define and document platform and infrastructure strategy for digital banking environments.
Design a digital banking technology stack, overseeing architectural considerations and technical direction.
Evaluate and recommend core banking providers such as Thought Machine, Finxact, Mambu, and Nymbus.
Evaluate and recommend KYC and fraud prevention vendors including Alloy, Persona, Middesk, and Sardine.
Build Phase Zero → Phase One roadmaps that align business strategy, technology needs, and delivery timelines.
Develop ground-up architecture for fintechs or digital banks, ensuring scalability, compliance, and cloud-native design.
Provide expert strategic advisory to founders and C-suite executives.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Strategist, Consultant, or Solutions Lead within digital banking or fintech.
Strong understanding of core banking platforms, digital onboarding solutions, and financial technology ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to own workstreams, operate independently, and present complex information to executive leadership.
Deep expertise in AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within regulated financial environments.
Exceptional communication, synthesis, and executive-level presentation skills.
Prior experience working directly with C-suite stakeholders and/or early-stage fintech founders.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting the launch of a new bank or fintech from inception.
Background in compliance, fraud, or risk mitigation technologies.
Salary
Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
Location:
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
