A hyper-scaling Series A AI-Fintech is searching for a VP of Engineering to help two exited founders scale engineering, infrastructure and AI/ML/data teams from 0–40 and beyond! Backed by elite Fintech and AI investors, they’re building intelligent financial automation tools using real-time data, machine learning and modern cloud-native systems.

The Role

Own engineering strategy across backend, infrastructure and AI/ML/data
Build high-performing squads and scalable delivery frameworks
Guide architectural decisions for AI-driven financial systems
Work hand-in-hand with founders and product on roadmap execution
Ensure security, compliance and reliability while shipping fast

Tech Environment

Python + TypeScript with ML components integrated across services
React for customer-facing products
AWS-native infrastructure with strong CI/CD, DevOps and data pipelines
AI-first mindset embedded across engineering and product teams

What You Bring

10+ years of software development experience
3+ years of engineering leadership in high-growth environments
Strong technical depth, ideally across AI/ML, data platforms or distributed systems
A track record of hiring, coaching and inspiring engineering teams
Loves fast-moving, product-driven environments
London-based or onsite regularly with the leadership team
