AWS Tech Lead - 6 months - Windsor- Inside IR35
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative cloud-based solutions. This role is hands-on and suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative, agile environment while offering guidance to junior team members. This position does not include formal line management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in refining and scoping upcoming sprint work.
Assist solution architects with technical design activities and break down complex technical tasks.
Take accountability for the timely delivery of assigned tickets, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
Conduct spikes and technical investigations into innovative technologies to assess future project viability.
Review teammates' work to ensure it meets code quality and engineering standards.
Collaborate with other teams to manage integrations, maintaining alignment across tasks and APIs.
Partner with the QA team to investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues.
Mentor junior team members, offering guidance, technical support, and problem-solving assistance.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
Experience building Serverless and Event-Driven architectures on AWS.
Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
Background working within an Agile/SCRUM environment.
5+ Years Leading AWS Projects
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Day Rate: £450-475 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Windsor
Start Date: ASAP
