Position Description

Secure Innovation is part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for the our client's most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.

We are looking for a hands on Senior Network Engineer to help our team design and deploy a next generation hybrid and multi cloud Wide Area Network, with a blend of physical and virtual appliances, alongside first party Public Cloud services. The enabling technology is predominantly Cisco SD WAN with automation enabled through the Day 0 deployment and the Cisco SD WAN Manager's API service

Our roles are only available if you hold a UK Security Clearance and are a sole UK National due to the secure nature of the project. You will either hold a higher level clearance or be willing to obtain it. Any individual without security clearance is welcome to apply and will always be considered for this or wider opportunities in CGI, where appropriate.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design and Implement WAN configurations in Cloud & Cisco.
Design and Implement App & Network policies in SD WAN.
Design and Implement App & Network policies in SD WAN.
Contribute to Network Automation with the Dev Team.
Capture and Manage design and config in documentation.
Verification & Validation of the delivered designs.

Please note, due to the highly secure nature of the project, this role is open only to UK Nationals who hold or are eligible for High-Level Clearance (HLC). You will be required on site in London 5x per week.
