Founding AI Engineer – Early-Stage, YC-Backed Startup (London / Hybrid)

Salary: £100k–140k
Equity: 1–3% (founding-level)
Hybrid working: Central London, 3 days p/week in office.
Tech Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic

I’m working with a YC-backed startup that’s building the next generation of AI-native analytics. This is a seed-stage, well-funded company with backing from top-tier VCs and prominent angel investors. High-trust environment.

What They’re Looking For

Strong engineering background (ideally 5+ years).
Proven experience shipping production LLM systems.
Hands-on experience with agentic/multi-step reasoning AI.
Familiar with modern AI tooling .
Product-first mindset and excited about early-stage startup ownership.
