Job Specifications

We are partnering with a prominent financial organization that is currently searching for a Data Engineer (ETL Developer) to drive its data integration and transformation projects.

Responsibilities :

Design and develop procedures and packages to meet ETL requirements, including testing.
Perform performance analysis to minimize the impact on operational systems.
Contribute to Master Data Management projects and provide feedback on data flows.
Collaborate closely with architects and actively share knowledge within the Data Team.

Requirements :

Higher education degree with at least 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer.
Preferably bilingual NL-FR, with good command of English.
Strong expertise in T-SQL scripting and querying.
Profound knowledge of the MS SQL stack (DB – SSIS – SSRS), particularly 2019 and 2022 Standard Edition.
Experience with Azure-based ETL solutions (Data Factory, Fabric).
Knowledge of Databricks.
Experience with both batch ETL and streaming services (Kafka or similar).
Proven track record in setting up integrations and migrating from legacy systems to modern architectures.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and its ETL capabilities.
Strong background in Data Warehousing (DataVault, …) and tools such as Power BI.
Solid understanding of data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, …), pipeline orchestration, and log collection/distribution tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices is an advantage.
