Business Development Representative at Greenpixie
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Line Manager: Head of Operations
Location: London (Monday and Wednesday at our office in Aldwych House)
Salary Range: £40,000 + Options
Leave: 28 days incl. Public; A long Christmas break (this year 19th December to 3rd January); An extra day of leave for every 1 year of service; Remote Work policy.
Interview Period Starts: January 2026

Overview
Greenpixie is looking for a Business Development Representative to support our growing sales function and help drive the next stage of our pipeline development.
This role is ideal for someone with BDR experience who is strong at top of funnel work and ready to begin taking on parts of the sales cycle.
We are looking for candidates who bring the right attitude and ambition. If this opportunity excites you do not hesitate to apply, even if your experience does not tick every single box.
You will focus primarily on outbound prospecting, but you will also have the opportunity to run some of the smaller deals you create (under ~£50k) as you grow toward a Junior Account Executive position.
This is an evolving role working with our Sales, Marketing, and GreenOps teams.

Key Responsibilities
Top of Funnel and Pipeline Generation
- Own outbound activity across target accounts and personas.
- Build and manage sequencing using sales automation tools.
- Create, refine, and maintain lead lists using Sales Navigator and CRM tools.
- Manage follow-ups, qualification, and early stage prospecting activity.
Early Sales Cycle Ownership
- Potential to run a portion of the opportunities you generate (sub £50k deal sizes).
- Support the team in moving opportunities through qualification, scoping, and handover.
- Leading discovery calls, when ready.
Lead Management and Campaigns
- Handle inbound leads, ensuring follow-ups and qualification.
- Event and conference attendance when required, including internationally.
- Support event follow-up, including outreach, meeting booking, and pipeline tracking.
Marketing and Outreach Collaboration
- Work with Marketing to support outbound campaigns and email outreach.
- Contribute feedback on messaging, personas, and outreach performance.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the GreenOps Academy, and the inbound interest from students completing our courses.
- Ability to proactively create and curate content for the marketing channels, including LinkedIn posts, videos, podcast style clips, blogs and newsletters is highly desirable
Tools and Systems
- Use automation tools to run sequencing, workflows, and targeted outreach.
- Keep CRM records up to date; we use Salesforce.
ICP
Our GTM model is a mix of direct and partner revenue, with a partner-first mentality. The best clients have:
- Large public cloud spend
- An established FinOps practice
- Mature, sustainable IT capabilities
- Champions with the job title: CIO; CTO; FinOps Leader; Head of Cloud; Sustainability Officer; GreenOps; Lead Engineer.
Experience
- 1 to 4 years’ experience in a BDR or SDR role.
- Confident working with Salesforce, LinkedIn, sequencing tools, and CRM systems.
- Clear and consistent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing high volume activity.
- Experience in IT, DevOps/FinOps, Cloud, or SaaS environments (highly beneficial).
- Ambition to progress into a Junior Account Executive role and take on full sales cycle ownership.
