About TechTorch
TechTorch is a high-growth enterprise technology consultancy that partners with the world’s leading private equity-backed businesses. We deliver AI-powered solutions, accelerators, and data-driven transformation initiatives that drive measurable value at speed and scale.
Our mission is to redefine enterprise technology consulting for private equity. We combine the agility of a scale-up with the discipline and rigor demanded by the most sophisticated investors and operators.
TechTorch was founded by seasoned leaders — including former Bain consultants, CIOs, and tech executives — with deep expertise in technology, transformation, and value creation. We are not a typical startup. We were built to succeed and deliver results that matter.
About the Team
TechTorch teams operate at the intersection of data, AI, and enterprise systems — delivering modern, integrated architectures that power business growth.
We design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that unify data, streamline operations, and enable automation across global private equity portfolios.
Our integration practice focuses on complex enterprise ecosystems, connecting CRM, ERP, finance, and SaaS systems through modern integration frameworks, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
About the Role
As a Senior Integration Specialist, you will be a hands-on technical expert responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations across diverse enterprise platforms.
This is not a management role — it’s a deep technical individual contributor (IC) position for someone who thrives on solving integration challenges, architecting robust workflows, and ensuring secure, high-performance data exchange across systems.
You will work across ecosystems such as CRM, ERP, E-commerce, and data platforms, choosing the right integration patterns and tools to meet business and performance requirements.
What You’ll Do
Design End-to-End Integration Architectures:
Architect and document scalable integrations across on-premise and cloud environments, selecting optimal patterns (API-led, event-driven, ETL/ELT, pub/sub, RPA-assisted, etc.).
Develop and Deploy Integrations:
Build integrations using enterprise-grade platforms like Workato, webMethods, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica IICS, SnapLogic, Kafka Connect, or similar tools.
API & Event Framework Ownership:
Design, build, and secure REST/SOAP APIs; manage API gateways (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, EventBridge, SNS/SQS).
Data Integration & Automation:
Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and automate data workflows across Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, and other SaaS applications.
Scripting & Custom Development:
Write custom functions or extensions in Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Shell to enhance integration capabilities.
Monitoring & Quality Control:
Implement observability, error handling, retries, and logging frameworks; perform RCA on integration issues and build reusable components.
Security, Governance & Compliance:
Apply enterprise security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, encryption) and ensure compliance when handling sensitive PII/PHI data.
Who You Are
We’re looking for an experienced integration specialist who combines technical depth, solution-oriented thinking, and an independent, delivery-focused mindset.
7–12 years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise integrations across CRM, ERP, and data systems.
Deep experience with at least 2–3 enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica IICS, SnapLogic, webMethods, Apigee, or AWS Integration Suite).
Strong understanding of integration patterns — orchestration, event-driven design, microservices, and message-based workflows.
Proficiency in REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and XSLT transformations.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, basic data modeling, and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
Skilled in cloud-based integration services (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage end-to-end delivery independently.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical execution steps.
Nice to Have:
Experience with B2B/EDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT).
Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or NetSuite integration layers.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message queues.
Understanding of RPA-based integration tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
