Job Description

Deezer is seeking an experienced Digital Advertising Projects Lead to drive key advertising initiatives and strengthen the performance of our ad tech ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Director of Ad Operations, this is a central role in optimizing Deezer’s advertising infrastructure.

Your role:

Lead key advertising projects:

Own digital advertising projects end-to-end, from scoping to delivery.
Coordinate the implementation and integration of ad tech solutions (SSPs, DSPs, Ad Server).
Manage timelines, risks and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Improve processes and workflows:

Identify inefficiencies and streamline operational workflows across AdOps.
Ensure systems, integrations, and tools are aligned with business needs.

Support technical implementation & data activation:

Take ownership of the engineering and development work required to support integrations, including building scripts and tools, developing and connecting APIs, running QA, resolving bugs and ensuring high technical standards across the ad tech stack.
Collaborate with data teams to extract, segment, and activate first-party audiences.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend relevant solutions.

Cross-functional collaboration and partner management:

Act as the main liaison between AdOps, Sales, Data, Product/Tech and external partners.
Manage relationships with partners maintaining Deezer’s ad tech stack.
Provide regular updates to the Director of Ad Operations.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad tech or programmatic environments.
Strong technical background with hands-on development skills (JavaScript, Python or similar), experience working with APIs, integrations and automation scripts, and solid proficiency in SQL for extracting and manipulating audience data.
Good understanding of ad tech platforms (SSP, DSP, Ad Server) and digital advertising workflows.
Experience leading cross-functional projects, working closely with technical, data and business teams, and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Autonomous, structured and comfortable owning initiatives end-to-end while collaborating effectively with multiple internal and external partners.
Curious, proactive and solution-oriented, with a strong ability to troubleshoot issues, improve processes and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in French and English
