About The Role

As a Software Developer intern, you will join and reinforce the TCM Kondor team which primary objective is to work on Front-Office and Regulatory reporting applications.

We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic intern to join our team to design, develop , and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on Azure. You will work on building modern, scalable solutions leveraging cloud services, APIs, and containerized architectures.

A Software Developer's responsibilities include developing features, maintaining existing one, integrating cloud services, building APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Ultimately, you will work with different IT professionals and teams to build innovative cloud applications that meet the needs of our organization and customers.

Objectives of this Role

Develop cloud-native applications and microservices using modern frameworks and Azure cloud services.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable integration between systems and services.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver features.
Stay current with cloud technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using programming languages such as C++ or Java.
Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Work with databases to design schemas and optimize queries.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development practices.
Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues across the full stack.
Document technical specifications, API contracts, and system architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure applications are scalable and production-ready.

Requirements

Final year Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong foundation in at least one programming language (C++, Java)
Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
Familiarity with RESTful API concepts and JSON data format
Understanding of relational databases and SQL fundamentals
Basic knowledge of containerization with Docker
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving skil
