Business Analyst | Defence Consultancy Client | 3 Month Contract (Inside IR35) | Up to £700 per day | Fully Remote | SC Clearance Required

MERITUS are excited to be working with a large scale technical consultancy looking for an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to join on a contract basis working with a UK Government Defence Client.

The successful candidate will play a key role working on mission-critical projects that support the UK’s defence and security capabilities. It is essential that candidates hold an active SC Clearance & have previous experience working as a Business Analyst within a Defence environment.

The role is fully remote although flexibility to be able to come into the London office if required would be preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead requirements elicitation and documentation for defence and national security programmes
Analyse and optimise business processes, operational models, and system workflows
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement across MOD and defence organisations
Support delivery teams with business change analysis, gap assessments, and solution validation

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Defence, MOD, aerospace, or national security environments
Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, business process modelling, and data analysis
Experience supporting technical delivery teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks
SC Security Clearance
