Hatch is seeking a Data Analytics Student for an internship with an interest in Transit. Reporting to the Transit, Vehicles & Operations, Data Analytics group you will support oces globally working from our Mississauga oce location starting May 2026.
Hatch is excited to post an opportunity for an internship for its TrainOps development team. The software product TrainOps is a world-class Operations and Load Flow Rail Simulation package that has many years and clients on its resume; the opportunity to work on the product with its small team of experts is a great opportunity for the intern's growth and resume. The workow of being integrated into a controlled and proven development process will aid the intern in understanding what fundamental practices lead to iterating software in the direction of continual improvement.

As The Successful Candidate, You Will
Be responsible for working on a small software development team size of 5 individuals.
The work products developed will be curated through stakeholder/user needs, requirements development, code reviews, and regression testing feedback.
You Bring To The Role
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science degree at recognized University.
C++ programming language prociency and expertise is a requirement.
Basic competence with Microsoft suite products is assumed (Oce, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).
Microsoft MFC knowledge is a strength for the candidacy for this opportunity.

Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.
Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges.

Compensation
Range: $26.00 - $33.00

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
