Job Specifications

My client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team in London.

Embedded with software engineering and cybersecurity engineers, you’ll design, build, and automate a hybrid multi-cloud estate (AWS & Azure), elevating CI/CD, observability, and developer experience across the firm.

This is an opportunity to shape cloud strategy end-to-end, own business-critical infrastructure, and collaborate with high-impact teams across the US and Europe - driving efficiency and innovation at scale.

The ideal candidate will be confident delivering infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), and robust CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus, Bamboo); implementing best-in-class monitoring and logging (DataDog, OpenSearch, LogicMonitor); and automating workflows with Python and PowerShell. You should be adept at bridging stakeholders - translating product and platform needs into actionable engineering.
