LEAD Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer

Location: Omaha, NE - OnSite

Experience Level: Senior preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a LEAD Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer to support ESS (Enterprise Support Systems) Hardening initiatives.

This role focuses on strengthening application security, stability, performance, and resilience across enterprise systems used in operational and business-critical environments.

The developer will work closely with security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to modernize and harden applications while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and harden enterprise applications built with Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and stability issues.

• Implement secure coding standards, input validation, and error-handling best practices.

• Upgrade frameworks, libraries, and dependencies to supported and secure versions.

• Improve authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.

• Support application resiliency, logging, monitoring, and auditability enhancements.

• Collaborate with QA and security teams to support penetration testing and remediation.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

Required Technical Skills -

LEAD Experience is a MUST.

• Java (8+/11+), Spring Boot, REST APIs

• Angular (latest versions), TypeScript

• Secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation

• SQL and enterprise databases

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated builds

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application hardening, security remediation, or platform stabilization

• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools and security scans

• Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments

• Exposure to cloud or hybrid deployments
