A Databricks Technical Lead is required for a Commodities Trading house, who post a successful POC with one of their front office teams, are looking to deliver a Greenfield Databricks implementation on Azure for a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a high-profile project focused on demonstrating rapid value and long-term platform adoption across the wider business.

This Databricks Technical Lead role is paying up to £1000/day Inside IR35

Located in central London, with 2-3 days per week from the office

This Databricks Technical Lead role is a 6-month rolling contract.

Responsibilities of the Databricks Technical Lead:

Lead the end-to-end Databrick implementation from Greenfield
Own and co-ordinate technical architecture decisions and delivery approach
Act as a hands-on technical lead utilising Python & Azure Databricks
Strong stakeholder management, being able to articulate implementation decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Experience:

Proven experience delivering Databricks implementations, ideally multiple times
Strong Azure Databricks expertise
Python development experience
Azure data ecosystem experience
Experience integrating Databricks with on-prem data sources (MUST HAVE)
