Responsibilities

Debug and resolve production issues that occur under real user load
Identify and address edge cases in the checkout and order processing flows
Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and performance
Collaborate closely on technical decisions and product direction
Monitor and enhance system reliability and uptime
Document changes and ensure best practices are followed throughout the codebase

Skills And Requirements

Proven experience in backend development for e-commerce or high-traffic web applications
Strong proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing production systems
Familiarity with checkout, order management, and payment processing flows
Experience with code refactoring and improving legacy codebases
Solid understanding of performance optimization and reliability best practices
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code
Availability for part-time, contract-based work
