About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer (Freelance) to join our client’s high-impact Agile team in Brussels for an 11-month project. You’ll be at the heart of building and evolving transversal components that power multiple business departments, directly shaping the digital backbone of a major organization. What You’ll Be Doing
Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack .NET applications using C# and .NET Core
Translating functional analyses into technical designs and supporting business analysts in validating technical specifications
Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, including second-line bug fixing
Driving continuous improvement in development processes and software quality
Implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines, including unit testing, to ensure stable development, test, and production environments
Collaborating within an Agile team operating in a SAFe environment
Contributing to technical documentation and reviewing documentation created by junior developers
Sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the entire team
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a .NET developer
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Ownership mindset with a passion for problem-solving and delivering impact
Strong analytical skills and a continuous learning attitude
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Team player with a collaborative spirit, adaptable and proactive
Sense of responsibility and a customer-oriented approach
Technical Skills
C#
.NET / .NET Core / .NET Framework
Full-stack development experience
Nice to have: Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps & CI/CD pipelines, Blazor, gRPC, MS SQL and/or Oracle, Messaging patterns (e.g., NServiceBus), WCF, WPF
Language Proficiency
French (preferred) or Dutch
Basic written and spoken Dutch required
English for reading and comprehension
Other Requirements
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, ideally within a SAFe framework
Ability to thrive in a bilingual, multicultural environment
