What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant or Manager, you will lead and contribute to digital forensic engagements across the full lifecycle including data collection, preservation, analysis, reporting, and evidence management. In addition to casework, you will participate in practice development activities, including resource development, enhancement of toolkits and procedures, and supporting business development initiatives.
Our Computer Forensics team works closely with forensic accountants, lawyers, litigation support teams, document review teams, clients, and investigators to deliver accurate analysis and expert advice for investigations and litigation matters. This is a client-facing role that involves frequent and direct communication with stakeholders at all levels.
About The Team
Deloitte's Forensic services professionals identify and resolve various types of corporate disputes and irregularities. We also carry out analyses, provide opinions and draft clear, logical reports. We apply a variety of quantitative and qualitative techniques aimed at identifying and analyzing presumed damages stemming from the following cases: business interruptions, broken contracts, negligence, breaches of obligations, intellectual property violations and other similar situations. We quantify actual or potential losses while helping our clients reduce their fraud-related risks, tracing misappropriated funds and resolving business and financial disputes on a fast-track basis.
Our Digital Forensics team supports a broad range of matters, including fraud investigations, technology misuse, workplace investigations, cyber incidents, and data breaches. Our primary objective is to help clients forensically collect data and uncover evidence relevant for their cases. We leverages industry-leading technologies and a global network of professionals to deliver practical and innovative solutions to complex engagements. The team has strong leadership and works closely together sharing knowledge and helping each other learn and excel.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
4–6 years of experience in digital forensics.
1–2 years of experience managing forensic teams and projects.
Proficiency with forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, X-Ways, Magnet Axiom, Oxygen).
Solid understanding of litigation support, technological investigations, and eDiscovery processes.
Project management experience, including engagement setup, WIP, billing, and financial oversight.
Client service experience in a professional services environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French is an asset).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
Ability to contribute to practice development and business growth initiatives.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within and outside Canada.
Eligibility to obtain Canadian Secret Level II security clearance and a U.S. work visa if required.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is between $84,000 - $126,000 (Senior Consultant) and $101,000 - $169,000 (Manager), and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
