Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role focuses on supporting reporting and analytics initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service performance, and decision-making. The intern will work closely with NOC supervisors and analysts to develop dashboards, generate reports, and analyze network performance data.
Responsibilities:
Collect, organize, and validate operational data from multiple sources within the NOC environment.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor network performance, incident trends, and service metrics.
Perform data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Assist in automating reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with NOC team members to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Prepare presentations and summaries of findings for internal stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects related to network operations and service performance.
Education:
Currently enrolled in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications / Network Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics or Applied Mathematics
The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
