Job Summary:
The Senior Front-End Software Engineer will join the Client's Entertainment & ESPN Technology Commerce, Growth, and Identity Client Engineering team to create unparalleled user experiences across Client’s premier digital platforms. This role involves translating complex requirements into actionable technical specifications, leading by example through test-driven development, and optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team to mentor other developers, ensuring code quality and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Translate requirements into technical specifications in close collaboration with product and project management teams.
Lead and enforce code quality through test-driven development.
Contribute to the evolution of the team’s practices and standards.
Support software across its entire lifecycle while maintaining documentation.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, performing code reviews and ensuring product specifications are met.
Must-Have Skills:
Expertise in building scalable, performant JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
Proficiency in React and Node.js, with a track record of deploying high-availability applications to cloud platforms like AWS.
Strong understanding of web accessibility, standards, and latest technologies.
Industry Experience:
Experience in entertainment and media industry preferred but not required.
