Job Description

Join our team and contribute to the energy sector as an Electrical Project Engineer – Offshore Substations, based in Brussels. In this role, you will support the development and integration of offshore wind energy infrastructure, ensuring the successful connection of new windfarms to the national grid.

Your missions

Review technical documentation for offshore AC substations (66kV & 220kV)
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical systems
Provide engineering support to construction teams during the outfitting phase
Oversee all low-voltage electrical systems within AC substations (LV switchboards, AC & DC UPS, diesel generator, earthing & bonding, lightning, lighting, cable management)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & SCADA, quality, HSE, contracting, PMO)
Ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards
Support the Substation Package Manager in project reporting and coordination
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle

Your profile

Experience in engineering, procurement, and energy industry projects (minimum 6 years)
Experience in offshore sector is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office
Academic background: Electromechanical/Electrical Engineer
English fluent. Dutch is a plus.
You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities
You are structured, independent, and precise in your work
You are a fast learner with a proactive mindset
