Analyst / Associate – Private Equity
Our Firm
CF Corporation is a global leading firm in the human capital and technology space, operating, investing and advising since 1982, operating in 119 countries across our 30 individual companies.
Our investment fund, CF Capital is a premier investment firm specializing in SMEs, unlocking value through human capital and technology. It invests in high-growth companies via private credit, equity, and venture capital. Through its Human Capital and Technology funds, CF Capital drives productivity, innovation, and sustainable growth, ensuring long-term impact through strategic expertise and responsible investment.
Your Focus
CF Capital is looking for an Analyst or Associate to support its private equity investment activity, working closely with senior investment professionals across deal origination, execution, and portfolio management.
This role is hands-on from the outset. You will contribute across the full investment lifecycle – sourcing opportunities, analysing businesses and markets, supporting due diligence, building financial models, and helping shape investment materials used in real decision-making. You are not observing the process; you are part of it.
The focus is on disciplined analysis and commercial judgement. You will develop a deep understanding of companies, sectors, and investment opportunities, supporting CF Capital’s efforts to identify, evaluate, and grow high-quality businesses. The role suits someone who is analytically rigorous, detail-oriented, and motivated by learning how deals are done in practice, not theory.
Responsibilities
Support deal origination through market screening, company research, and pipeline development
Conduct detailed company, market, and sector analysis to support investment theses
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
Support due diligence processes across financial, commercial, operational, and strategic areas
Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and materials for internal decision-making
Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout deal execution
Support portfolio monitoring activities, including performance tracking and analysis
Contribute to value creation initiatives alongside deal teams and portfolio company management
Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders as required
Maintain high standards of accuracy, rigour, and confidentiality across all work
This role is about supporting investment decision-making, not producing analysis in isolation.
You can absorb complex information quickly, assess businesses and markets with rigour, and form a clear, well-reasoned point of view. You approach analysis with structure and commercial judgement, and you are comfortable working with incomplete information as deals evolve.
You bring pace, resilience, and close attention to detail, and you work effectively with senior investment professionals without needing excessive direction. You contribute confidently in professional discussions, consider alternative perspectives, and use them to sharpen investment thinking and outcomes.
This role suits someone who is analytically strong, commercially minded, and prepared to be accountable for the quality and impact of their work.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any field
At least two years of experience in a relevant environment such as private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance or related internal corporate role
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
Solid understanding of company financial statements and business fundamentals
Demonstrated interest in investing, business analysis, and value creation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
