Job Specifications

Join a dynamic team as a Full Stack Engineer, working remotely on a part-time contract basis. This role focuses on building and maintaining backend services and APIs, integrating frontend applications, and enhancing existing features for a fast-paced project. Daily collaboration is required during core hours of 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, ensuring effective communication and agile development cycles. The ideal candidate thrives in startup or SaaS environments and is eager to contribute technical expertise to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (Django or Flask)
Integrate frontend applications with backend systems, ensuring seamless data flow
Collaborate with team members daily during EST core hours to align on project goals and deliverables
Optimize and scale existing features for performance and reliability
Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment workflows
Work with PostgreSQL databases for data modeling and management
Contribute to code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in agile development processes and adapt to evolving project requirements

Skills And Requirements

Proficiency in Python (Django or Flask) and JavaScript/Node.js
Experience with PostgreSQL and Docker
Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus
Prior experience in startup or SaaS environments preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in remote settings
Availability to work part-time with daily overlap during 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
