Job Specifications

Contract opportunity for a Software Engineer to join GlobalLogic in London. Role is Hybrid and Inside IR35.

Essential experience: React/Node/TypeScript as well as Terraform and pipelines.

The role responsibilties will include:

Creating intuitive web experiences by building and evolving Backstage plugins and other React applications.

Designing and operating scalable TypeScript and Node.js back-end services on Linux and K8s

Embedding unit, integration and end-to-end tests and managing automated CI/CD pipelines, using GitHub, Jenkins and Argo CD.

Identifying workflow friction, prototyping solutions quickly and iterating with stakeholders across the organisation.

We are looking for the following technical experience:

Proven experience delivering end-to-end systems with React, TypeScript, and Node.js

Practical knowledge of Backstage (plugin development, software catalogue, TechDocs)

Ability to design scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient distributed architectures

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability stacks

Experience integrating and securing services on major cloud platforms
