Job Title: Data Governance Analyst – Underwriter Workbench

Location: London (Hybrid 3 days a week in office)

Project Type: Inside IR35 Contract

Description:

Defines data standards, governance processes, and requirements to enable MI dashboards and reporting for Global Markets. This role needs strong knowledge of data governance frameworks like DAMA used in regulatory industry like Insurance, Financial Services, Banking.

Role Details and Deliverables:

Establish enterprise data definitions, data quality rules, and data lineage
Work with MI teams to define dashboards, and metrics.
Develop a data management plan

Data Standards Catalogue
Data Quality Rules and Controls
Requirements and Governance Documentation

Personas, Skills & Requirements:

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA).
Experience working in regulated industries
Detail oriented, structured strong communication skills.

Ways of Working:

Works within Scrum teams depending on assigned data governance tasks.
Uses Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking and documentation.
Participates in daily stand-ups.
Participates in sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Facilitates data-specific workshops with business and technical SMEs.
Provides weekly updates on data governance deliverables.
Maintains data-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions.
Contributes to RAID logs and reporting packs.
