Job Title: Subsea Commissioning and Baseline Coordinator

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
Missions / Service Dimensions
Under the responsibility of the Subsea Operations Manager, the service holder shall contribute to:
Development, implementation, and start-up of the subsea systems
Follow-up of detailed engineering, fabrication, factory testing, integration testing, and installation in the plant
Coordination of subsea equipment tests, commissioning, and start-up activities across all subsea facilities
Follow-up of subsea interventions, including Permit to Work, as subsea engineer on the FPSO during start-up and operations
Preparation and execution of subsea maintenance and inspection carried out by the subsea MIEC contractor
Coordination of the subsea maintenance and inspection baseline
Location: Paris, France

Frequent missions to Europe (Spain, Norway, Italy, Sardinia)

Asia (Kuala Lumpur, China)
Future Rotation:
End 2027 to early 2028, the role transitions to an FPSO rotation for final integration, commissioning, hook-up, and start-up
Activities
HSE Attitude / Accountabilities
The service holder is responsible for:
Demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules and requirements
Promoting a strong HSE culture in all stakeholder interactions
Attending mandatory HSE trainings and ensuring compliance from team members and vendors
Technical and Coordination Activities
As Field Operations representative for development, implementation, and start-up of subsea equipment (Xmas trees, production manifolds, WAG injection manifolds, FLETs, ILTs, etc.), the service holder shall:
Coordinate the development and testing progress of each equipment item
Follow the status of punch lists from testing campaigns
Ensure operational requirements and specifications are met throughout integration
Participate in FAT, eFAT, SIT, and on-site commissioning and start-up activities
Ensure integrated testing programs with FPSO and subsea contractors meet specifications and interface agreements
Validate that functional requirements and operability are satisfied according to the Basis of Design
Coordinate subsea inspection and maintenance baselines
Pre-Operations Activities
The service holder supports pre-operations preparation by:
Ensuring subsea operating principles and operational needs are addressed during tests
Identifying focus areas and resolving technical issues
Witnessing FATs, eFATs, SITs, and IFATs on behalf of CPY FOPS and raising punches as needed
Ensuring all tests and punch lists are recorded and managed in the selected completion system
Ensuring proper handover between SPS, UFR, commissioning, and field operations teams
Contributing to subsea commissioning and operational procedure development
Developing and providing training to O and M contractor engineers and operators
Tracking subsea systems commissioning and start-up
Supporting inspection and maintenance teams in developing maintenance strategies, procedures, and spare parts lists
Operations and Start-Up Support
During towing, hook-up, commissioning, and start-up, the provider shall:
Perform engineering and execution of SPS commissioning under Subsea Operations Manager guidance, including procedures, tools, consumables, and spare parts
Perform start-up of subsea installations with support from the well performance team
Act as the focal point between O and M contractor and TotalEnergies for subsea equipment
Coordinate subsea operations between all stakeholders
Prepare intervention programs and procedures with onshore support
Assist the Offshore Field Manager (RSES) in production performance activities
Act as Operating Authority for all subsea operations covered by Permit to Work
Context and Environment
The role takes place within the execution phase of a major Suriname offshore project.
The Suriname GPI coordinates studies led by TotalEnergies OneTech across deep and shallow-water discoveries in Block 58
