Content & Marketing Manager (Photo & Video–First)
Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
Full-Time Contractor (1099)
~$65,000 annually
Reports to: Founder / CEO
Fast Pickle is a fast-growing beverage and wellness brand disrupting the electrolyte category with our 3oz pickle juice shots. We sell direct-to-consumer, on Amazon, and through retail and community partnerships. We grow by showing up in real places, capturing real moments, and turning them into content that actually performs.
We’re looking for a Content & Marketing Manager who is both a hands-on photo/video creator and a strong marketer. This role is ideal for someone with a creator mindset (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, short-form video) who also understands how content fits into a broader marketing strategy.
This is not a coordinator-only role. You will be shooting, editing, publishing, and activating in the field.
Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of content creation, field marketing, and brand growth. You’ll own the creation of photo and video content while leading field marketing initiatives, partnerships, and events that fuel brand awareness and trial.

Turning real-world moments into high-performing content for social, ads, email, and Amazon
The role is hybrid and based in Nashville, with travel required for events and brand activations.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (Primary Focus)
Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and photography for:
Events, pop-ups, races, and activations
Fitness, wellness, and lifestyle environments
Product launches, brand storytelling, and behind-the-scenes content
Own the full content workflow from capture to edit to publish-ready assets
Maintain a consistent visual and storytelling style aligned with the brand
Build a growing content library for paid ads, organic social, email, partnerships, and Amazon listings
Collaborate with paid media partners to develop ad-ready creative that actually converts
Field Marketing & Events
Plan and execute sampling events, pop-ups, races, tournaments, gyms, and festivals
Personally attend and activate events (this is a hands-on role)
Recruit and manage brand ambassadors as needed
Oversee event logistics, budgets, and post-event performance
Partnerships & Community Marketing
Identify and secure partnerships with gyms, studios, youth sports organizations, and wellness communities
Develop sponsorships and co-marketing opportunities
Leverage partnerships as both distribution and content opportunities
Marketing Coordination & Strategy
Work closely with external agencies managing paid media, email, or analytics
Ensure content and field marketing efforts align with overall brand strategy
Collaborate with sales and operations on product launches and retail initiatives
Reporting & Optimization
Track performance of content, events, and partnerships
Share insights, learnings, and ROI with leadership
Continuously refine what content formats and activations drive results
Physical & Travel Requirements
Must be local to Nashville, TN
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (event setup, coolers, product cases)
Comfortable working events hands-on (including setup, teardown, and ice buckets)
Willing to travel nationally for events and activations
Qualifications
3+ years experience in content creation, marketing, or brand management
Strong photo and video production skills (portfolio required)
Experience shooting and editing short-form social content
Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and their content formats
Experience in CPG, beverage, fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands preferred
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
Contractor Details

Contractor provides own camera gear and computer (opportunity for org to buy more equipment)
