Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: 3 day/week onsite
Client Industry: Banking - Fortune 500
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Working hours: 37.5 hours/week

We may use AI-enabled and/or automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process, including application screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. These tools are used to enhance consistency and efficiency. All hiring decisions involve human review and are not based solely on automated processing.

About the Role:

Day to day, what are the responsibilities?

Requirement gathering

Agile methodology

Complete assigned tasks

Write code by hand

Writing code from scratch

Bug fixes

New features

Migrating some legacy components

Must-haves/key skills needed:

Java and Python - hands-on building applications from scratch in Python (not scripting)

C# and React is must - UI Development

5+ years as a FullStack Developer - ability to pick up new languages quickly

Independent

Strong communication skills

Financial applications/ systems/ banking systems

Must have tools: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira.

Experience using modern IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code, or PyCharm.

Plusses:

C++

Working across time zones with global teams

Capital markets, equity or trading platform expeirence

Generative AI and machine learning frameworks, products, or tools for agentic or automation?driven solutions is an asset. I.e. Copilot

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $80-90 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
