Active Directory SME

Whitehall Resources are looking for an Active Directory SME. This role is primarily remote working with some occasional travel to Manchester, for an initial 10 month contract.

Responsibilities:

Analyse & Prioritise Findings
Review AD security findings, assess severity, and determine remediation actions.
Implement Fixes
Apply configuration hardening, update GPOs, correct permissions, resolve insecure settings, and remediate privileged groups or service accounts.
Clean Up AD Objects
Remove or fix stale, orphaned, or misconfigured accounts, computers, and SPNs.
Coordinate Changes
Work with AD, IAM, platform, and application teams to validate and implement changes through proper change control processes.
Document & Report
Record remediation steps, update tracking logs, and provide clear status updates to security and project stakeholders.
Improve Sustainability
Recommend process improvements and help establish ongoing monitoring and governance to prevent recurrence.
