Job Specifications

We're looking for an experienced RPG Analyst Developer to support our client in maintaining and evolving their custom ERP system built on the IBM AS/400 iSeries platform. This ERP solution plays a central role in the day-to-day operations of a growing company.

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes in collaboration with key users and translate them into efficient technical RPG solutions.
Develop, maintain, and optimize RPG applications on the AS/400 iSeries system, tailored to support critical ERP functionalities.
Ensure software reliability, performance, and integration within the broader production landscape.
Participate in system design discussions and proactively identify areas for improvement or automation.
Provide technical documentation and support testing, rollout, and post-implementation activities.

Your Profile

Strong medior or senior-level expertise in RPG (RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE).
Background in working with ERP systems: preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or inventory management contexts.
In-depth technical knowledge of IBM AS/400 iSeries.
Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to convert functional requirements into scalable code.
Comfortable working autonomously as well as within cross-functional teams.

Other Requirements

Fluency in Dutch is required.
Able to work onsite at client's premises (EU Citizenship is required).
