Position: Economics Expert (PhD)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $65–$90 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time (~20 hours per week, extendable to 40 hours)

Role Responsibilities

Create and assess complex economics problems across microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, econometrics, and behavioral economics
Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance
Provide clear, structured written feedback on economics problem sets and solutions
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to improve model performance
Ensure academic rigor, precision, and consistency in all economics content used for AI training and evaluation

Requirements

PhD in Economics from a top university
Strong academic or professional experience in economics
Deep subject-matter expertise across core areas of economics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Prior teaching, research, or publication experience is a plus
