Job Specifications
The primary role of the Enterprise Business Process Specialist is to drive a wide range of Enterprise business process improvements that are complex in nature. In addition, the EBP Specialist acts as a liaison between the Enterprise at large and both the IT Application Support and Application Development teams. The Business Analyst will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems across HR, Medical, and Security domains. This role acts as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring that application solutions align with operational needs and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for HRIS, medical systems, and security platforms
Work directly with business representatives and act as liaison between the business and the Information Technology (IT) teams (i.e. development & production support).
Work closely with HR reps, medical staff, and security teams to ensure systems meet evolving needs. Participate in sprint planning and refinement meetings.
System Support and Enhancement
Provide support for existing applications (e.g., Workday HR, medical check systems, security incident tracking), troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.
Evaluate current software functionality and identify opportunities for software and/or business process enhancements.
Assist with the troubleshooting of identified system problems (tickets) to identify root cause and appropriate corrective action.
Lead software and process enhancement discussions to ensure the selection and subsequent implementation of the best business solutions.
Take the lead in writing functional design specifications, user acceptance test (UAT) scripts, training documentation and business communications related to software enhancements.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform user acceptance testing.
Develop and execute test plans, user acceptance testing scripts, and training materials. Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Change Management and Training
Provide user support and training on existing as well as new system functionality.
Participate as Green belt/SME on various 6-Sigma project teams.
Support change initiatives by preparing documentation, training users, and facilitating smooth transitions during system upgrades or process changes
Qualifications:
Experience with MS Office Applications required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Understanding of data privacy, labor laws, and security protocols.
Possess strong organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Maintain good human relation skills to be able to develop a cooperative working relationship with individuals inside and outside the department.
A four year degree in MIS, CA, Engineering or Business Administration (or related field) with 1 to 3 years of experience.
Preferred Experience:
Prior work supporting HR, Medical, or Security domains.
Experience with .NET applications and integration projects.
