The Role

We’re working with Vodafone to recruit multiple Software Developers to join a highly skilled team supporting and enhancing enterprise-level systems within Fixed Data Services.

This is a hands-on development role focused on building, maintaining, and improving software solutions, including a large-scale ERP platform (RTAP), used across Vodafone’s core operations. You’ll work closely with other developers and technical specialists to deliver reliable, scalable applications that support critical business processes.

This role is software development–focused — not a network engineering position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications built on the LAMP stack
Supporting the ongoing development of a large ERP system (RTAP)
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Working with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Expect) for automation and tooling
Deploying and supporting applications via the command line (CLI)
Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams across Vodafone
Producing and maintaining technical documentation
Supporting testing, quality assurance, and post-deployment troubleshooting

What We’re Looking For

3+ years’ experience as a Software Developer or Systems Developer
Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP
Solid scripting skills using Python and/or Perl
Comfortable working with CLI-based deployment and configuration
Experience working on enterprise or large-scale systems
Ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams
Eligible for SC Clearance
