Akkodis is seeking an Claims Analyst for a 12 Months contract position with a client located in Martinez, CA 94553. Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge or experience with Claims for 3-5 or more years

Job Title : Claims Analyst / Lien Resolution Analyst

100% Remote

Duration : 12 Months

Preferred States: Arizona, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington.

Back Up States: Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin.

Pay Range: $20/hr W2 - $21/hr on W2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $21.00 p/hr

Time Zone Requirements: ET

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET with an hour lunch

Training Schedule: Same as work schedule. On the job training.

Interview Process: HM will conduct interview with one additional person.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of new clients, including training, registration with Medicare and setting up the client on the Epiq MMSEA web portal.

• Handling calls and emails from all clients regarding requirements of MMSEA.

• Maintains a positive working relationship with the clients including prompt response to questions, regular communication and reports and any other client needs.

• Monitors data submissions from clients to ensure they are accurately and timely submitted and resolve any errors or technical issues.

• Learns and applies system processes and works with appropriate groups to coordinate changes because of government requirements or internal process improvements.

• Ensures timely and accurate submissions to Medicare on behalf of the clients.

• Coordinates resolution to issues and exceptions generated by error reporting.

• Willingness to learn and apply Mandatory Insurer Reporting Requirements of Section 111 of Medicare/Medicaid Act, HIPAA and maintain current on government trends and regulations.

• Timely and effectively provides report status to management and others, as appropriate.

• Resolves technical and subject matter issues as they arise and collaborates with others as appropriate to bring issues to resolution.

• Escalates system issues, when appropriate.

• Assists clients with and provides training to clients on the use of the web portal.

• Defines and documents system requirements and tests changes made to the site as needed.

• Assists with the creation, documentation, and implementation of departmental procedures.

• Assists with testing system updates.

• Coordinates with other Epiq departments as necessary for clients who engage Epiq for additional services.

• Regularly participates in meetings and is dependable as an internal/external resource on assigned projects.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates outstanding internal and external Client Service skills, 3 - 5 years required.

• Understands technology; how to navigate database systems, electronic data interfaces.

• Strong knowledge and analytical experience with claims data.

• Knowledge and understanding of Medicare regulatory requirements, compliance, billing and healthcare claims and coding, preferred.

• Effectively and efficiently follows issues from start to completion.

• Able to adapt to constant changing environment.

• Effective communication skills, written, oral, and listening.

• Problem solving and strong analytical ability.

• Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.

• Able to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.

• Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with DocuSign, preferred.
