About the Role

We are looking for a computer vision engineer to develop Earth observation ML/DL models using multispectral, hyperspectral, LiDAR and SAR data from both open-source & commercial sensors.

You will work alongside other experienced developers in SAR and other EO technologies.

Besides developing models, you will also support customers and partners.

Responsibilities

Collect and process raw satellite imagery data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
Design deep learning/CNN-based algorithms leveraging several TB of data
Collaborate with researchers to stress-test findings and finetune algorithms
Collaborate with the rest of the team to develop end-to-end commercial solutions around these algorithms
Provide input on and contribute to software development projects

Qualifications

PhD or master's degree from a top engineering school with curriculum in both ML AND remote sensing technologies
At least 2 years' of experience in data science AND using satellite data (you need to be at ease using typical data formats, geographic systems, technical and theoretical concepts)
Fluency in Python (Scikit learn, Tensorflow-keras, PyTorch)
Comfortable with basic tasks of MLOps
Any experience with SAR data is a plus
