Job Specifications

Automation Lead Engineer

Location: Palo Alto, CA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: 12+ Months

Interview: Video

Key Requirements:

Strong Python & Pytest expertise (coding assessment required)
Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
Hands-on with Jenkins and test reporting tools (TestRail preferred)
Leadership experience mentoring engineers and owning automation strategy
Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto (4 days/week)

Nice to Have:

Automotive domain experience
CI/CD tools, virtualization (ESXi/Proxmox), Bazel, Jama

Responsibilities:

Design and expand automated test infrastructure
Develop Python-based test frameworks and reporting
Lead automation initiatives and mentor junior engineers
Collaborate with stakeholders on design and technical decisions
