Solution Architect:

On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Solution Architect for a 1-year contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Solution Architect - Job Description:

The Solution Architect will play a crucial role in translating business needs into secure, scalable, and supportable solution designs. This role involves providing architectural leadership, modeling, and design to guide delivery teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, technology standards, and portfolio roadmaps.

Solution Architect - Responsibilities:

Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including logical and physical models, and C4 diagrams
Produce high-level solution designs that define end-to-end architecture and align with enterprise standards
Ensure solutions meet business objectives and non-functional requirements such as security and scalability
Define resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational architecture, ensuring alignment with standards
Ensure solutions meet architecture, security, and compliance checkpoints and manage risks
Provide advisory support during the delivery phase, clarifying design expectations and validating solutions

Solution Architect - Mandatory Skills:

Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts
Experience in architecture modeling (logical, physical, C4)
Ability to define non-functional requirements
Knowledge of resiliency and disaster recovery design
Experience in aligning solutions with enterprise standards

Solution Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in the energy sector
Experience with ARB reviews
Understanding of technology roadmaps
Experience in advisory roles

Solution Architect – Assignment Length:

This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility for extension.

ASAP.

Solution Architect - Assignment Location:

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position with three in-office days (Tuesday–Thursday) and remote work on Monday and Friday.
