Job Specifications

Our client currently seeks a Network Data Engineer to join their team on an initial 12 month contract. This role will be done on a hybrid based working model (2/3 days per week in office based in Chester)

Core Requirements

5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or large-scale environments
Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification (active or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles

Platform Expertise (Hands-On)

Cisco routing and switching (NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS)
Skyhigh Web Gateway (proxies / secure web gateways)
F5 BIG-IP and/or AVI Load Balancers
Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls
BlueCat DNS/DHCP/IPAM
