Job Specifications

Your tasks

• Propose and document the architecture for the team, in alignment with the technical constraints of reuse of existing components and building blocks;

• Ensure alignment between the business needs and the architecture of the solution, through documentation, presentations and workshops with the relevant stakeholders;

• Review all technical analysis performed by the IT external development company, support the Project manager on the decisions to take, and provide feedback on the estimates;

• Support the Project Manager in all decisions related to IT developments and change of architecture;

• Risk and issue analysis, propose mitigation paths;

• Interaction with other architects, business analysts, business owners, project manager, external development company.

Requirements

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience;
At least 10 years of expertise in Java development;
At least 5 years of expertise in UML modelling (diagrams);
At least 5 years of specific expertise in EC corporate components of architecture (EU Login, EU Send, …);
Extensive experience of IT developments and IT architecture ;
knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
Good knowledge of business process analysis;
Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
Ability to draft, improve and document architecture decisions, propose several solutions with pros, cons and risks;
Excellent command of the English language.
