James Adams is currently looking for ServiceNow Development Lead. This is a permanent role working hybrid in Manchester 2 days onsite.

The Opportunity

We are working with a modern and progressive technology function where ServiceNow plays a critical role in how teams operate and scale. This role offers the chance to take real ownership of the platform, influence its direction and deliver solutions that genuinely improve how the organisation works day to day.

You will sit at the centre of platform development, automation and integration, partnering closely with the business while helping to raise technical standards across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Own and develop solutions across the ServiceNow ecosystem, including ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM and App Engine
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
Deliver integrations and automation initiatives, including connectivity with tools such as Microsoft Teams
Lead on platform enhancements, upgrades and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, supporting a collaborative learning environment
Diagnose and resolve complex platform issues while minimising impact to users
Contribute to the ongoing ServiceNow roadmap and long term platform strategy

What We Are Looking For

Strong hands on experience across the ITSM lifecycle with a solid grasp of ServiceNow architecture and workflow design
Proven experience delivering integrations, working with Azure DevOps and using both declarative and imperative development approaches
Confident communicator who can engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CAD and ITIL knowledge are advantageous but not essential
