About This Role
We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate technology tasks portfolio of projects and lead a team of ambitious technology professionals that support the delivery of the Anti-Money Laundering applications and solutions. You will also have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and leadership beyond your immediate team on significant strategic initiatives to modernize the technology and capabilities to align with the portfolio and enterprise technology roadmaps.
The primary responsibility of our team is to design, develop and maintain the technology platform that processes the banks customers and transaction behaviour detection algorithms to detect suspicious and fraudulent activity. The open role is for a person who is familiar with AML and is capable to lead all aspects of AML technology project delivery. The role will require that the person collaborates with the larger team (Oracle Engineering team), Data delivery teams, program delivery, testing teams, business sponsors and infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth delivery of AML technology.

Responsible for management of the project activities for all technology teams including design, development, business analysts, testing, and infrastructure teams.
Coordinate offshore development activities with the offshore team to build environments, new solutions, and support all escalated incidents and defects.
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships (e.g. Oracle) for technical delivery related activities; ensure timely/accurate communication and resolution of issues.
Work with technology partners to ensure that environment modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed and meet performance requirements.
Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and without adverse impact to the business.
Oversee the integration of all systems, projects and technical interfaces to ensure a high level of service and support to the client and efficient system operation.
Lead effort to test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment components.
Promote a culture of productivity, innovation, improvement, teamwork, and professionalism.
Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management and overall team leadership for team members and provide regular input into team members’ assessment of performance and development plans.
Act as an escalation point for all technology risks and issues affecting projects, and for working to define and implement mitigation strategies.
Responsible for delivering in line with financial forecast and achieving benefits targets as defined for Application Delivery teams.
Identify all development related project dependencies and risks and ensure mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.
Job Requirements

University degree, preferably in technology/ engineering.
Demonstrated experience with Oracle OFSAA products, Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM) is a very strong preference.
Strong knowledge of AML and the associated regulatory reporting needs.
Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience working with technology development, testing and infrastructure to delivery complex technology projects.
Strong knowledge of banking systems and the respective Customer, Account and Transaction data processed by these systems and an understanding how the data can be utilized to support AML monitoring.
Strong understanding of technology project delivery, project management and financial management of projects.
Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to big data and analytics platforms on data lake platforms on the public cloud is desired.
