About the Client

My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel.

They are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis for 12 months, with the potential for further extension or a permanent role.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager – Security & Infrastructure Software Projects to lead end-to-end delivery of key technical initiatives across our global organization.

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, IT operations, and security teams across 20+ countries to deliver high-impact projects that strengthen our cybersecurity posture and modernize our infrastructure.

You’re a strong communicator, a natural coordinator, and comfortable navigating technical environments. You enjoy solving problems, driving clarity, and helping teams deliver great outcomes.

Key Duties:

• Lead security and infrastructure projects from planning to delivery and operational handover.

• Define scope, timelines, budgets, and risks in collaboration with technical experts.

• Coordinate global cross-functional teams and keep delivery on track.

• Drive governance: reporting, steering committees, stakeholder engagement & communication, risk management.

• Remove blockers, anticipate issues, and manage changes to scope or schedule.

• Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and mitigation of cyber risks.

• Communicate effectively with Security teams, development teams and IT operations.

• Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a collaborative, customer focused delivery culture.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a software management field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of project management experience in technical, security, or infrastructure domains.

• Good awareness of cybersecurity principles (authentication, access control, basic risk mitigation). • Proven ability to communicate across technical and executive levels

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• English fluency required.

Nice to Have:

• PMP certification (or in progress).

• Experience with security or compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

• Experience delivering business-critical applications.
