Role: Software Developer (Back End) – Senior

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Back End) to translate technical system specifications into fully functional, tested applications. The role involves full-cycle development including back-end API development, front-end integration, database management, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.

Mandatory Requirements

Demonstrated experience with API (Back-End) development
Demonstrated experience in Angular (15+) and Material frameworks
10+ years of experience developing N-tier enterprise applications
10+ years of experience with .NET Framework, C# (4.6 and above)

Key Responsibilities

Translate technical system specifications into working applications
Develop detailed programming specifications
Write and generate code (front-end, back-end, and server-to-UI data exchange)
Develop and maintain APIs
Develop UI components using Angular 19 and Material frameworks
Maintain and optimize server-side logic and central databases
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
Support implementation, migration, and conversion activities
Conduct design walkthrough sessions
Provide post-implementation support and technical documentation

Technical Skills

.NET Framework (MVC, Web Services, Web API)
C# (v4.6 and above)
Angular 15+ (Angular 19 preferred)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Microsoft Azure App Services
SQL and Stored Procedures (MS SQL, Cosmos DB preferred)
Development of internal UI libraries
Experience with Balsamiq (wireframing)
Experience with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

Back-End Expertise Required

Development and maintenance of server-side logic
Central database management
Ensuring high performance and responsiveness
Integration of front-end elements with back-end services
N-tier enterprise application architecture

Desirable Skills

Internet-ready application development
Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies
Middleware and gateway experience
Product installation script review and modification
Information Management principles
User and system documentation development
