Title: Business Development Manager
Location: London (1–2 days in office)
Salary: £40-50k + bonus

The Role
This is a hands-on, field-led wholesale sales role, focused on winning new customers and expanding the brand’s presence across the UK.
You will take full ownership of identifying opportunities, opening new wholesale accounts, and managing the customers you win. This role will suit someone who enjoys being out in the market, starting conversations from scratch, and turning early interest into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage targeted prospect lists across key wholesale categories and regions in the UK.
Drive new business growth by proactively approaching potential customers through in-person visits and structured follow-up strategies.
Secure new wholesale accounts and oversee their launch, ensuring smooth onboarding and early growth.
Own and expand key accounts, including: Curating product ranges tailored to each account, designing merchandising solutions and sales fixtures, managing repeat orders and monitoring ongoing account performance, leveraging seasonal and promotional opportunities to maximize sales
Collaborate closely with the UK lead to inform expansion strategy, identify priority categories, and optimize territory focus.
Represent the brand with professionalism and confidence, building strong relationships in the market.
Maintain transparent and up-to-date visibility of pipeline activity, account progress, and next steps.

Successfully open and launch new accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and early traction.
Drive strong momentum and growth within newly acquired customers.

Operate with high levels of independence, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight.
Experience
Proven experience selling premium branded consumer goods, including categories such as food & drink, interiors, fashion, gifting, and lifestyle.
Skilled in proactive new business development, including cold outreach, in-store visits, structured follow-up, and closing deals.
Highly organised, energetic, and self-motivated, thriving in autonomous and fast-paced environments.
Confident communicator, able to build credibility quickly with retail decision-makers.
Driven by growth, brand-building, and field-based engagement, consistently seeking opportunities to make an impact.
